A decade across design and front-end. I've led teams of two to eight, shipped commerce front-end on contract at Nike, and now design natural-language and agent interfaces for AI products. I hire and mentor, own the front-end architecture, and hold the bar on the details customers feel.

Selected work

  • Commerce Inventory Experience

    Four-month contract building the React front-end for an inventory data integration inside a global sports retailer's e-commerce organization. Covered by an NDA, so described without screens.

    My role: Individual contributor. Outcome: Hit every milestone for an on-time, on-scope launch in under four months.

  • Agentium Studio

    Multi-tenant workspace where analyst teams run AI-assisted client engagements through a visible four-stage pipeline, with role-based access, reusable templates, and live progress metrics.

    My role: Team lead. Outcome: Shipped a role-aware workspace: 5 user roles, a 4-stage pipeline, 15 templates.

  • Mobius

    Natural-language interface that turns a plain question into the right interactive chart, inferring the visualization from the query so nobody has to build one.

    My role: Individual contributor. Outcome: Plain-language questions answered with the right chart, no query builder required.

  • FirmGuard

    Network device monitoring dashboard taken from concept to launch. I owned the design, the front-end architecture, and the hiring of the front-end team that built it.

    My role: Team lead. Outcome: Taken from concept to a successful launch in 2023.

About

I'm a design and engineering leader based in Portland, Oregon. For a decade I've moved between design and front-end engineering on purpose, because polished products come from people and teams who can do both.

I've led teams of two to eight people. I built React commerce components on contract at Nike, hired and led the front-end team behind a security product at Phoenix Technologies, and have spent the last three years designing natural-language and agent interfaces, most recently leading front-end for Agentium Studio.

What I care about is the finished thing in a customer's hands: fast, clear, and considered down to the last state. I build the team, the system, and the standards that make that repeatable. I'm contracting now and looking for a full-time leadership role.
